My sister has a blog and she’s made great progress. She has two kids and is trying to get rid of her baby pouch, so I always recommend women with kids or problem areas to check hers out: http://nisselokeo.tumblr.com/
And this is my fitness buddy. We check in with each other once in a while :
Anon! Sorry I answered this so late, I hope you read this, the answer is no. They are less visible but not faded. With me, I could tell when I was getting bigger cause they’d get really red. Now they are kind of shiny, I’ll take pics tomorrow to show what I mean! :) Good question!
Feeling very hungry this morning. Instead of snacking on a million things, I reached for the one food that always kicks my cravings in the face - OATMEAL!
It’s high in fiber, low cal, fast& easy to make.
Tip ***If you have a sweet tooth, use bananas instead of sugar! Sprinkled with a bit of cinnamon, it boosts your metabolism, helps reduce arthritis pain and all sorts of neat stuff. Best of all, it’s yummy!
Have fun with your oatmeal. Add blue berries, peanut butter, honey, whatever! If you’re feeling proud of your oatmeal take a picture and share it! Send me a link via fan mail, I want to see! :)
option for beginners instructions on how to do each move
1 hr work out
No additional equipment purchases needed - just you and your body.
Easy enough to follow, hard enough to make you feel like a badass
Price- $10 for a fairly intense 1 hour workout that you can do in the privacy of your own home? Yes, please!
The only thing that was a little annoying was that girl to the left of him yelling “hey” like every 3 minutes. -.-
I bought Billy Blanks’ “This is Tae Bo”. I’ve heard that this is a very old workout that was all the craze a couple years ago. I’ve heard of it, but never really understood what it was.
The warm up in this video is awesome. Super fun and gets you going. The actual exercises are great and work up a sweat. Some of the moves are a little hard to follow for me, but most are fairly easy even for a complete beginner.
I was pretty sure some exercises I was doing completely wrong, but I just kept moving and tried to be aware of what my legs and arms were doing so that I didn’t accidentally pull anything.
I was only able to take 30 minutes of this. It worked me out pretty well. I was sweating.
I like that Billy Blanks is unpredictable. For example, sometimes he says put your feet together and he’s showing you with his body to keep your feet apart. There’s another part where he puts his hands up so that you could “hit” them. It felt a little silly but it made me giggle to myself.
I also like that the girls in the back ground doing the exercises look like they are trying it for the first time too. A couple are a little unbalanced and that made me feel good cause I wasn’t “the only one”.
I would say if UFC trainer and Leslie Sanson’s Walk at Home had a baby, Tae Bo would be it. haha
I hadn’t measured myself in a while (maybe more than two weeks?). I’m happy to say that I have lost 5.5 inches from my belly! :) It feels so great to say that. I honestly feel like a badass! I started out at 47.5 inches less than 3 months ago. I never thought I would see 42 there. I know 42 inches, to many , is still pretty huge, but I am so proud!
I can’t wait to see 32 inches, oooh shivers. haha I won’t believe it till I see it!
If you all are having doubts about continuing or feel like you haven’t lost much, do what I did. Add the inches that you have lost to the tape measure and put it around your waist.
If you’ve only lost 2lbs or 4lbs, hold that amount of weights in your hand and step on the scale.
Now, tell me that it hasn’t been worth every drop of sweat. Tell me that what you have worked for amounts to nothing.
Whether it’s two pounds or twenty, you are making an effort and if you keep going, it will pay off.
First of all, thank you to all of my followers for keeping me pumped through out my weight loss journey. I just saw a huge increase in followers from yesterday to today, so I’m pretty excited to switch things up.
I drank for the first time in foreverrr last night and the whole time I was thinking about how it would impact my weight. I did get noticeably bloated (about 3 freaking inches! :0) but it did die down a bit after I drank a whole lot of water and ate some of that active yogurt stuff (basically I pooped and peed alot).
I am still a little bloated, but excited to start my fitness regime up again! I know I keep saying I am , but things have just been so hectic lately. To be honest, I have been dealing with what they call organic depression. It’s taken a huge toll on my health. The last two days have been so positive though, I feel like I am on the right track.
I bought a fitness dvd, it’s Tae Bo. I don’t know with who or what, I just grabbed it cause my best friend told me that since I like punching things, this could be for me.
Also, I want to start dancing.
I want you guys to note that I AM A TERRIBLE DANCER.
But today when I was in the car with Nadine (learn her name , guys! She will come up alot, she’s my best friendand is also on her own weight loss journey) a song came on and it’s slipping my mind what it is but it’s something like by Nelly or 50 Cent, haha and it made me want to dance.
I think I’m going to youtube some moves or maybe play alot of Just Dance on the Kinect, you never know? I’m never going to bash kinect games again, because to be honest, alot of my weight loss (or at least metabolism boosts) were a result from UFC Trainer for Kinect.
Okay, so I know that was alot of different subjects to kind of jumble up in this quick post, but I want you all to know that I am constantly thinking of ways to switch it up and to find effective ways to boost my weight loss and to share with you all.
As always, thanks for all the words of encouragement and for simply following my blog. I know it’s not amazing or anything, but I do try to share everything I learn.
Remember guys, I’m not exactly a pro or experienced. I’m not even done with my third month. So, I don’t know all the answers, but I’m here to find out with or for you all.
